My academic foundation in Journalism and Heritage Studies hasnot only enriched my perspective but also equipped me with a multifaceted skill set. Director Of International RelationsInternational Organization Of Folk Art (Iov) Jan 2020 - PresentBahrainI lead and monitor communication between the IOV presidential office in Bahrain and other chapters of the NGO around the world, as well as head the team in organizing international conferences and meetings. This was vital, as it was the first time in the NGO's history that an Arab country held the presidency and our collaborative hard work helped us make a mark internationally with the conferences and meeting we held, MOUs we signed and guests we hosted. I also manage publication projects, occasional write or translate booklets/articles and handle other tasks concerning to the daily running of the office. I began my work at the IOV as International Liaison Coordinator in 2016 and then was promoted to Director of International Relations in 2020.

This included: creating a reliable contact list for events, international guests and day-day work. The contacts ranged from food vendors, gift providers , hotels and more.•Established new communication channels with the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Section.• Wrote and translated the introductory booklet for the organization in both Arabic and English• Coordinated the visit of over 15 international guests in the course of one year.• Participated in the Fifth IOV Youth Congress in Krakow, Poland and presented a paper on the importance of storytelling. I also ran forand won the position of Vice President of Publications for the Youth Commission, during the congress in Poland.• Edited and published the IOV Youth Journal 2017, which fully documented the 5th IOV Youth Congress.• Co- authored the UNESCO ICH NGO Accreditation Review Form (2019).• The lead organizer of the IOV World General Assembly 2019, along with the Scientific Conference: Folk Culture: The Present and Future Pathways 2019. Both took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. I was responsible for overseeing over 150 international guests and managing every organizational detail related to their stay and participation in the conference.
