Company Industry: Banking Department: SME • Oversea efforts of two analysts working on small business loans• Analyse small business loan packages and evaluate their financial statements• Prepare independent recommendations on advisability of granting credits for small business lenders• Supervise / review all documentation and recommendations of junior staff before final determinations are rendered• Train, advise, and communicate credit department policy and procedures to junior staff.

• Evaluate proposals forwarded by branches / sales and take decisions within approved authorities• Ensure compliance of all internal procedures / system controls. • Ensure credit proposals are reviewed within due diligence, presented to Credit Manager and taken decision in line with the banks guidelines• Assess credit risk and establish credit limits• Conduct loan reviews• Conduct collection calls for bucket 1 customers• Evaluate credit cases above approved credit limits and recommend the same for the higher management• Work in a timely manner to minimize risk of customer disputes• Negotiate customer disputes to resolution and documents root cause• Actively participates and communicates in the team based work groups that make up the Credit department
