The role of my job is to promote programme coherence and performance across UNICEF’s sectors, and to ensure that the UNICEF Field Office/Country Office has useful, valid and reliable information on the situation of children’s and women’s rights and needs in Gaza as well as the performance of UNICEF’s programmes and sectors that UNICEF leads/co-leads. My role within UNIECF is a key interface with a broad range of contacts and sectors, both within and outside the Organization. My main duties areProgram Development and Management. UNICEF program in Gaza are coherent and coordinated in their planning, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in accordance with results-based management. Situation Monitoring and Assessment. A Situation Monitoring and Assessment System owned by all key partners is in place and updated, through which the Gaza Field Office/Country Office and partners have timely and accurate measurements of change in conditions of children, women; Program Performance Monitoring. Program monitoring effectively conducted to improve program performance, and program status reports prepared on a timely basis. Evaluation. UNICEF-supported evaluations attain established UN quality standards, and the results are disseminated in a timely fashion to stakeholders for improving program performance and contributing to national and corporate learning.Information Management. Effective information management systems are in place, through which the Field Office/Country Office and partners have timely and accurate information on humanitarian response and its impactPartnership, Coordination and Collaboration. Effective partnership and collaboration achieved and maintained for advocacy, technical cooperation, program development, information sharing and networking. Capacity Building. The capacities of UNICEF Field Office staff and partners government and civil society are enhanced to meet the expectations and requirements of their positions and responsibilities.

Track new M&E ideas and approaches through attending online webinars.
