Created and polished thick sections for Scanning Electron Microscopy. Separated mineral grains from rock specimens under a plain-light microscope in preparation for high-pressure experiments (which used a Diamond Anvil Cell apparatus). Peak-fitted and analyzed x-ray diffraction spectra from high-pressure rock deformation experiments. Archived notes, data, graphs, and interpretations of previous experiments in both hard-copy and digital format. Built and developed a website using Adobe Dreamweaver (http://faculty.unlv.edu/pburnley) to display supervisor’s past and ongoingresearch.
