The Director of Curriculum and Technology Development is the chief technology leader for Lucas Education Research (LER) and directs digital development, delivery and management of all technology strategy and operations. This role also serves as the curriculum development lead for all curricular exemplars being developed in LER’s research studies. This individual provides vision and leadership in the development and implementation of Sprocket and services that help educators and school leaders advance their practice. This is an excellent opportunity to lead LER in its next stage of digital curricular development including the strategic approach to become a vital and engaging Open Education Resource.

• Implements project management best practices (clear scope definition, detailed project planning, communication, change control, risk management, and governance), templates (client requirements, release notes, status reports), and other accepted standards to develop procedural maturity at this fledgling division.• Leads the migration to a content management system and API integration. • Advises the Executive Director of Lucas Education Research and senior leadership team on the best available technologies to deliver engaging and personalized services, resources and professional development.• Ensures a comprehensive enterprise information security program to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data.•Creating detailed program plans to support these efforts, including breakdown structures, as well as resource communication, and risk plans.• Drives digital curriculum development to ensure maximum optimization for platform migration.• Responsible for vendor management and budget planning for Engineering costs
