With the help of Product Managers, Analysis, Architects and Developers we flesh out all details of a project before it is handed over for development. I also work closely with the development team to create FRPs, demos and prototypes for sales proposals for our potential customers. I manage the flow of information, by getting the right people together to get the information needed so that I may design the best possible solution for the business needs. I create and manage all project documentation, written and supporting visual aids, user workflows and technical workflows. I become the Subject Matter Expert on all solutions providing a buffer between the Business Owners and the IT staff. Ultimately all decisions are filtered through me, as the designer, to ensure all risks are assessed and can be implemented within the given timeframe. In Addition, I am a key player in creating new processes and procedures to increasing the efficiency of syncing design documents and project information with the main Project Management systems (Target Process and Smart Sheet).
