I had to maintain a clean environment, operate a register, open and close the store, bank deposits to Garda, interview new hires, and do all the paperwork and training for new hires.

When I was first hired I was a general labor, after I found out I was pregnant to put me in a safer environment my new position was a manifester. As a general labor I just did clean up around the facility. And as a manifester my duties were to stand at the conveyor belt and input the weight of the product on the scale into the computer and it would print a label and I would put the label on the product box and a forklift driver would come and remove that box so that we could put a new box there to fill with more product.

I was then promoted to an overnight team lead. And after a month a position for women’s department supervisor became available where my main duties included setting up a sales floor plan, doing the schedule, and training the associate in my department. I then took another position as the fitting room team lead where my main duties were to lead a small crew around the store to maintain every fitting room.
