I am a dedicated education professional with over 25 years of experience in teaching and providing outreach services to deaf and hard of hearing students, their families and the professionals who serve them. I provide training to students, educational interpreters, teachers, administrators and families on topics relating to Early Literacy, Self-Advocacy/Deaf Identities, College/Career Readiness, Deaf Art, Family Involvement, Story signing, and ASL Classifiers skills. In the fall of 2010, I became the new Director of the Gallaudet University Regional Center for the Midwest and I am currently serving 14 Midwest states.

(Camp Lions Adventure Wilderness School). The program was designed to expose the teenagers to various adventures and to increase their self-esteem by performing some challenging feats, such as backpacking, mad-dogging, rappelling, rock- climbing and caving.• Supervised twelve counselors who were hired to implement various wilderness activities.• Served as an assistant to non-C.L.A.W.S. counselors hired to work with individuals with head injuries, cerebral palsy, cognitive disabilities and muscular dystrophy.
