Outpatient nursing/medication management

As a volunteer at the Information Desk, I answer questions about locating patients for visitors, practitioners and general directions and knowledge about the campus, run medications to the patient rooms, Operation Room and Emergency, lab specimen pickups and drop off, floral delivery to patient rooms, and help the main desk operator with anything else that may be needed.

I greet patients upon taking them back to the clinic room and get them ready for the doctor they are seeing. I take their vitals and input the reason for the visit. I help with small in-office procedures here and there, clean rooms between patient visits and restock rooms when necessary.
