About Sheri Gibson, Ph.D.

Dr. Gibson received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Geropsychology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs (UCCS). She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the V.A. Palo Alto Healthcare System and her post-doctoral training at UCCS to include The Aging Center and Peak Vista Senior Health Clinics, and Rocky Mountain Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Dr. Gibson is the former Director of Behavioral Health Services for Rocky Mountain Healthcare Services. She is also a faculty affiliate with the UCCS Gerontology Center. Dr. Gibson serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Elder Abuse & Neglect, is Chair of the Colorado Coalition for Elder Rights and Abuse Prevention (CCERAP), and is the recipient of the 2015 Joe Henjum Accolades Award.
