My responsibilities include:-Communicate with prospective clients to determine their insurance needs-Develop a coordinated protection plan by calculating and quoting rates for appropriate coverage and long-term strategy implementation-Obtain underwriting approval by research and/or through agent or underwriter consultation-Schedule appointments to evaluate the extent of coverage, ascertain long-term goals, and finalize policies-Complete coverage by issuing policy and plan future follow-up visits to re-evaluate needs-Maintain industry knowledge through participation in continuing education opportunities and professional organizations-Respond to client inquiries regarding existing policies and coverage; make any requested changes to existing client policies-Assist in processing claims and notify clients of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments; assist in determining whether a particular loss may be covered by insurance-Maintain contact with clients during claim process and ascertain satisfaction post-claim-Provide additional support to office staff in serving clients as needed

-Consulted with 10 elementary schools regarding fundraising options, including cash or free books for their schools.-Served as motivational Team Leader and mentor to a team of 15 colleagues.-Coordinated training meetings for starting a new business, consulting with schools, how to completely execute home shows, and selling at booths. Presented a workshop training on promoting to a Team Leader.-Placed in the top 50 in sales nationally four times.-Earned annual incentive goals four times. Earned monthly Home Office Challenges 43 times.

-Managed a team of 5 employees which included scheduling, training, and providing motivation and mentoring.-Sold greeting cards and stationery products to retail stores in 8 cities. Serviced stores by returning holiday products and putting out new stock.
