Focused exclusively on helping low to moderate income households realize the dream of homeownership by taking advantage of local, state and federal affordable loan programs including CalHFA, CalHOME, BEGIN, and CBDG, as well as IDEA, WISH and IDA matching grants, Below Market Rate new homes offered by local and national builders, Redevelopment Agency assistance programs, etc. Advocated for and managed the use and origination of multiple layers of affordable financing to help bridge the affordability gap in the Greater Bay Area. As project manager, oversaw and coordinated home buyer seminars, credit counseling, financial planning and short and long term strategies for "getting qualified" for prospective home buyers.

Originated and processed residential loans, especially for first-time home buyers using layered financing from local and state down payment assistance programs. Managed inclusionary housing component for local and national home builders including organizing and conducting home buyer seminars, facilitating and preparing local DAP applications for builder as well as prospective purchasers, & originating conventional as well as FHA loan applications.
