Assessing students reading levels and progress through the use of technology, individual and small group instruction. I used Developmental Reading Assessment, Phonics assessments, spelling inventories, student motivation to read profiles and leveled running records to assess students. I also used technology such as Newsela and Readtheory to track and monitor students reading progress and to adjust my instruction. I used Reading Eggs with younger, emergent readers. I used weekly repeated timed fluency passages at students independent level to improve students reading fluency. I discussed progress regularly with teachers and intervention specialists. I completed Reading Improvement Monitoring Plans for students.
