I am Responsible for 20 Safeway stores. I visit the stores weekly to ensure the employees are working safe, coaching and training while completing an audit. During the visits I am checking OSHA guidelines,and ensuring that we are in compliance. Familiar with other regulatory agencies like environmental and health department rules. Reducing injury frequency is my #1 goal and have been successful year after year. I have been able to reduce frequency, chargebacks and help the division with getting the incentive credits of over 3million back to the stores bottom line.I am one of 2 risk management specialist that set up new store locations in nor cal and just completed the last one in Hawaii in September.I teach new hires on job safety every week which in a year totals over 1000 new employees trained in my district.I assist with other projects as they become available.
