Convention Events - IT & Digital World

-Responsible for effective sales, marketing, coordination and management of Internet-based communications services and digital signage offered at our partner hotel properties. -Liaison between clients and the resort staff for all Internet-based communications needs.-Plan with future meeting and event clients to assess their communications needs (site inspections, client visits). -Represent XpoNet and the hotel(s) in group pre-conferences for all Inter-networking needs.-Negotiate with clients the appropriate pricing for Internet and IP based services to maximize revenue.-Primary representative of XpoNet for duration of events. -Manage relationships with hotel cast members to ensure optimum use of human resources. -Inform and educate the hotel sales and convention operations department on current and new services.-Present and demonstrate sales and marketing material to prospective clients.-Manage Event Technology Account Executive team

-Create, update and maintain all websites and social media accounts with current news and promotions on natural healthcare-Plan and execute events such as outside lectures, workshops, health screenings, health fairs and trade shows-Implement local print advertising campaigns, media buying, direct mail and internal referral programs for additional exposure-Write monthly newsletters/promotions and e-blast to managed subscriber list-Community Relations via attending club and association events, networking with heads of the company/decision makers-Design and order all promotional items such as banners, promo giveaways, brochures, business cards, education pamphlets-Chamber of Commerce member/Office representative, Business Exchange Office Representative

-Search and identify opportunities to gain exposure on the Internet-Negotiate contracts and secure advertising space from hundreds of websites-Design dedicated email blasts and track statistics via Google Analytics-Coordinate Direct Mail campaigns-Analyze campaign successfulness and ROI-Successfully reach monthly lead goals for each degree program assigned-Build database based on the leads we receive from the marketing campaign-Successfully managed a monthly $150k budget

-HSOR, High School Outreach, is a department that reaches out to high school students by providing knowledge of degree choices and career possibilities in the entertainment industry.-Drive prospective students into enrolled students through knowledge of the university curriculums.-Assist in counseling student on the Admissions, enrollment, financial aid, housing, education and placement processes to ensure a seamless and invaluable experience.-Host and act as Full Sail Ambassador to prospective students on behalf of Regional Admissions Representatives during campus visits and campus tours.

-Conducted market research for a new product in the baby supplies industry.

-Athletics Event Planning: 10 banquets, 4 corporate tailgates, 12 golf outings-Execute plans for sport’s banquets and reunions from start to finish, including booking the site, designing the menu, preparing the mailing list, designing invitation and program, handling R.S.V.P’s, assigning seating arrangements/place cards, ordering flowers, oversee registration and event, create a financial summary of event and make all deposits.-Planned football tailgates for 1,000-15,000+ attendees-Alumni & Friends golf outings for fundraising purposes

-Managed a staff of a total of 70+ employees, 25 employees on a daily basis-Executed liquor order as well as all other office supplies that were requested-Worked on various projects and events assigned by Proprietor, mainly charity events-Personal Relations/Customer Service with guests: handled complaints and/or comments-Trained over thirty employees for bartender, server and head wait
