Hi there, my name is Sherida and for the past 11 years I've spent the majority of my time designing, developing, talking and thinking about video games and plant based foodStraight after graduating from HKU I started my own company, tiger & squid which I ran for over 9 years. The short games that I created were elegant, emotional, innovative, playful experiences that invite gamers and non-gamers to explore new worlds and experience the world through the eyes of someone elseAs a creative director I worked with a team of talent to develop concepts and explore fresh ideas.As an experience designer I want my work to be accessible, elegant and evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity.As an interactive storyteller I want my players to be emotionally engaged and make meaningful choices that alter their experiences.As an artist I want my work to be beautiful, unique and expressive.At the height of the pandemic I decided to make a shift in careers, following another passion of mine which was creating vegan recipes and alternatives for my favorite foods. Overnight a new company was born, Plantbeest Kitchen, where I sold my creations with hungry customers from all over the country. One product in particular instantly became a favorite, the dried cured sausages in several flavors that beautifully mimicked regional delicacies according to vegan and omnivores alike.
