Receiving my bachelor’s degree online I was able to start a successful commercial cleaning business in the town I wanted to live. This also allowed me to start my career in community service by joining the Meeteetse Recreation Board as secretary and later being appointed to the Meeteetse Town Council. I was elected three times after my appointment. My growth and knowledge gained during these years on both boards as well as my experience of owning a business and managing employees have all been crucial to my desire to continually be involved in all aspects of community including the development of strategic and master plans while working closely with a diverse team. I was recently nominated as a Wyoming Woman of Influence in the Lifetime Achievement Category and enjoy activities such as long distance running, cycling, mountain biking, and being on the water.
