As part of the Scarborough Business Association Board of Directors, I was named Chair of the Membership Committee and was responsible for the transition to a new membership management service. I also engaged local anchor institutions and partner community organizations to create small business support programs. My work with the SBA has given me strong contacts in Scarborough's business and non-profit community.

My early work at the Scarborough Business Association exposed me to many varied projects. I examined and suggested changes to SBA processes, including suggesting website design based on industry practices and creating a comprehensive action plan for a future business award event. I also participated in many community events, including the SBA’s Cyber Breakfasts and Networking After 5. I was responsible for coordinating over 60 vendors at the SBA’s inaugural Scarborough Day celebration, including pre-event contact management and on-the-ground event problem solving.

This was a senior management position in the camp, and I was responsible for observing and evaluating camp programming throughout the summer to ensure quality in program delivery. I assisted in the hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating of camp staff. I was responsible for escalated customer service communication, and resolving escalated camper behaviour issues. I also oversaw the camp’s beginning and end of day bussing procedures.

I was responsible for the analysis and categorization of legal cases, and the quality assurance of a Client Relationship Management database. I organized and coordinated programs and projects within the marketing department, and across the firm, cooperating with lawyers and other departments.
