I have over 29 years of experience working in the Technology Industry in Egypt. Through being in various roles as Managing Director, COO, CMO, Marketing Director, Technology & Platforms Director, Marketing & Sales manager I have gained operational & strategic knowledge of all major business areas, such as Business Operations, Strategy, Marketing, Tech Evangelism, Product, Technical & Developer Marketing, Sales, Channel & Partnerships. As the managing Director of Softline International in Egypt, a Digital Transformation and Cyber Security Solutions Service provider and a Global Microsoft Partner, I was responsible for establishing Softline in Egypt, build the business from the ground up, hire world class team, promote the Softline brand, manage Sales & services operations and win business by helping enable the digital transformation of customers through Softline’s Cloud technologies, Solutions and services. Prior to that I was the managing Director of DigiTech, a Microsoft Licensing Solutions provider LSP Partner in Egypt, successfully led the accomplishment of business growth, target revenue, market share and profitability for the 1st year of operation. As Marketing and Operations Group Director of Microsoft Egypt & being an active member of the Egypt Subsidiary leadership team, I was directly responsible for driving subsidiary performance & Business growth initiatives across operating mechanisms of revenue, P&L, market share, Business scorecard KPIs & profitability in a cloud world & Digital Transformation revolution. Prior to this, I headed the Developer & Technology Platforms Evangelism “DPE” group to enable the S/W development of leading Apps & services on Microsoft platforms. As a leader I have proven track record of developing & attracting talent, coaching them to success & building impactful teams. I enjoy coaching, advising and developing people. I have a solid record of accomplishment of success in managing rapidly growing businesses, leading transformations, Sales & Marketing Excellence in execution and operationalizing change. Besides my broad business and management capabilities, I am passionate about Tech & its impact on empowering people, transforming businesses & fueling Software economies. I have solid hands-on experience in areas such as digital transformation, cloud, AI, big data, analytics, social media and mobility. I frequently speak at major events, an active board member and participant in Masrdotbokra NGO lecturing and developing youth skills.
