Shared in coordinating the effort of the Egyptian member organizations to hold/attend workshops, seminars, pilot projects, and conferences supported by the Middle Eastern North African Sustainable Habitat Development Association under supervision of the Head Office at Technische Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany.

Provided and shared thoughts in developing sustainable measures for a knowledge-based society that can be accomplished through higher education programs and formulation of “Campus Sustainability Initiatives” in accordance with East Carolina University Long-term Goals (2006-10) http://www.ecu.edu/cs-acad/fsonline/customcf/fsagenda/fsa407.htm and Mansoura University endeavors by contributing the following:1- Preparation of “Sustainability on Campus Series;” posters for raising awareness on sustainability: a. Poster I- Sustainable Communities: The Concept & the Practice b. Poster II- Sustainable campuses: Higher Education & Leadership Role2- Preparation of ECU Sustainability Survey (targeting campus stakeholders including the administrators, alumni, faculty, staff, and students)3- Attending the University Environment Committee and sharing in the “Response to the UNC Tomorrow Report” with the sustainability and conservation survey, to be approved and distributed to students, faculty, and staff on campus, and providing thoughts on the sustainable partnership between city and university to communicate various directions to conserve energy and build responsibly, January 24th 2008.
