As the Finance Director, I lead and oversee financial affairs at the Corporate and Business Unit levels. My responsibilities include business partnering, short and long term strategic planning, controllership and governance, cost optimization programs, treasury activities, Joint-venture governance, process excellence, transformation, and Board/ARC contributions. I played a key role in promoting the cash culture and streamlining the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes by introducing governance and methodologies to plan and manage the balance sheets, cash flows, and working capital.

In this position, I took a leading role in ERP implementation as well as formulating, implementing, and improving Policies and Procedures, Governance, and Standard Operating Processes. I established the Shared Services function that was expanded later to a full fledged Global Solution structure across the group. I also oversaw more than 35 under-construction development projects which included multi-billion mega-regional shopping malls, hotels, and mixed-used

I was a crucial member in several Finance reorganization and restructuring projects, having spearheaded the re-engineering of most of the financial standard operating processes (SOPs) and took part in the IPO processes and EVA implementation projects. I successfully led several systems implementations and enhanced the financial controls.
