• Enhance and manage trade finance products, including Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Trade Loans, Supply Chain Finance, and Guarantees.• Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor products, and regulatory changes to identify product innovation and improvement opportunities.• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of trade products.• Ensure all trade finance products comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.• Work with the risk management team to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with trade finance transactions.• Work closely with trade sales and relationship management teams to provide product expertise and support clients’ proposals.• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal teams to enhance their understanding of trade products.• Conduct market research and analysis to identify target segments and develop strategies to increase market share.• Manage marketing trade products and services through various channels to increase awareness of the bank’s products in the market.• Drive customers to use the bank as their core operating and trade finance bank.• Responsible for growth in the Trade & Supply Chain business, co-shares the target with the corporate relationship team.• Monitor trade product performance and profitability, taking necessary actions to achieve trade product revenue targets.• Serve as advisor, to recommend and promote Trade & Supply Chain solutions to existing and new clients.• Stay updated on international trade regulations and practices, including ICC rules.

• Issues Commercial, Transferable, and Stand by LCs.• Gathering necessary information, documentation, and approvals to complete the LC issuance process, amendments, and any related financial transaction.• Review and examine the presented documents under LC to determine compliance with international standard rules and verify terms of credit.• Verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness.• Records payments and liabilities.• Coordinate with the client’s relationship manager to provide all credit information to ensure facilities are granted in accordance with the customer line of business and trade summary sheet.• Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure abiding with all global trade compliance rules and procedures.• Coordinate with the financial institution team to check the authenticity of the Advising bank, Confirming bank, and all related parties.• Provide daily/monthly reports to CBE, Risk department & branches.• Preparing daily FX reports and proceeding by FX allocation.• Implements the risk policies and processes (Operational, Regulatory, Financial, and Audit risks) ensuring that it meets regulatory and internal requirements.• Supports payments processing and bank balance reconciliations.• Being Trade Finance expert and provide guidance, solutions and advisory services to clients.• Manage Client transaction and ensure delivery withinTAT.• Daily review of transaction queues & escalate where required.• Respond and resolve day to day queries received from Clients/FI/Coverage, as well as manage complaints when received.• Coordinate with and collaboratively work with all Front Office and infrastructure partners.
