SHERIF EL DIWANYSherif El Diwany is currently a co-founder and Managing Director of MGM Climate Business Developers, as of July 2022 . He is the Chairman of Green Option for Automotive Retrofitting; and Member of the Advisory Board of M&P., the foremost public policy and government relations firm in MEA. Since his return to Egypt in 2015 from Geneva, El Diwany has been engaged in private-public dialogue with Alexandria Business Association on a host of business environment reforms and advancing green transformation of the private sector in Egypt. He is an Egyptian-Swiss executive and entrepreneur with 35 years of global experience in public-private initiatives structuring, business development and Middle East regional economic & geopolitical agenda shaping, servicing businesses, as well as green transformation of economic activities. El Diwany offered business development & fund-raising services to several multinational clients with project ranging from USD 4 to 45 million. He founded his 1st business at the age of 29 and grew it to become the 2nd largest management consultancy in Egypt for 17 years. In Geneva, Switzerland he led the repositioning and re-design of the value proposition and product offering in Customs Administration modernization for a multinational Swiss firm serving as member of its Corporate Leaders Committee and Senior Vice President for Business Development. He then served as Senior Director of the Middle East & North Africa division of the World Economic Forum in charge of shaping the Forum’s agenda, engaging leaders from government, business and other stakeholders across the region. In 2009, El Diwany was named by Arab Business Magazine as one of 50 most influential Arabs.
