About Sherif Tolba

Sherif is a computer scientist and an electronics & communications engineer with a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in computer science and engineering (CSE) and B.Sc. in electronics and communications. He has a multidisciplinary background and loves science and technology. He received his B.Sc. in 2007, his M.Sc. in 2011, and his Ph.D. in August, 2016. His main research interests are Swarm Robotics, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), and radio frequency identification (RFID). He also is greatly interested in embedded systems, physical computing, artificial intelligence, and computational geometry. He has worked in different positions in diverse environments ranging from academia, as a research and teaching assistant, to organizational positions, e.g. as a web application developer. He was also involved in many research, course, and software development projects, where he always excelled. He has six publications where he is the first author, and more in progress. He loves learning new knowledge, techniques, technologies, disciplines, and his eyes sparkle when he sees a new invention or learns something new. He has a strong will and ability to learn fast and well.
