This year will mark 38 years for me at KP Corporation in the exact same position. When I started at our Salinas plant in 1986 we still operated a letterpress with hot type for crash imprinting NCR forms. We also printed four color process plus varnish software manuals and software boxes for Digital Research on our 2 color press. I can still hear the press thumping and the pressman grumbling when he had to print those boxes. Even with all the noise and multiple passes they turned out beautiful.Things have come a long way since then...I earned a degree in electronic technology in college, and I am excited to see how it is continually improving our industry. We can now use our web-based tools to capture and manage everything from the ROI on a marketing program we physically printed and mailed to creating a site for our client's clients to pay bills we electronically or physically sent them.Specialties: Printing with and without paper (paperless distribution), Mail, Fulfillment, Data base driven communications and Web Based Electronic Solutions which allow you to Print less and Deliver more!

I worked at this small local printing company during college. The owner purchased an early electronic typesetting system in 1983 which I setup, ran and trained other employees to run in the mornings. Back in those days we still had paste-up artists because it was very difficult to set type in the proper position. You couldn't see what you were getting on.
