I have been an Educator for the past 23years in Special Education . I am a Social Emotional Educator who currently functions as Dean of Students managing a middle school population within in one of the most intensive special education environments. I am member of our district’s Emotional Intelligence Anchor Team; training for the past 2 years in conjunction with consultants via Yale University. This year I had the opportunity to train in DBT for educators and have been leading groups for education with a high risk population of students. I am currently at the Hawthorne Cedar Knolls High School. I am a full time employee at a Special Acts School District that was created by legislature to serve students placed in the residential program at the campus agency. I serve students with emotional and behavioral issues. I am very proud to serve students with disability.
