Hi, my name is Sherina! I am a family woman, student, life group leader for my church, Doula/Midwife, Breastfeeding Peer Counselor, President of the Public Health(PH) Club at Sac State (Fall 2024), Community Service Officer for my daughters gymnastics Parent Board, and a Health Assistant at a job that I love. I worked in the food industry for twenty years and specialized in excellent customer service. I have obtained five Associate degrees at the Community College level and three of the Associate's degrees are in Criminal Justice. I have worked alongside a Private Investigator and I specialized in investigations, gathering evidence, and researching law. In 2022, I went back to school and applied for a job at the county as a College Intern and fell in love with Public Health, and have now been promoted to Health Assistant. As a Health Assistant I specialize in Data, Research, and Assessment.I am a full-time student at Sacramento State University where I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Health: Community Education and I am expected to graduate Fall 2024. After I receive my Bachelor's degree I plan on pursuing a Masters in Public Health in Spring 2025.I have also completed professional and personal development training through Landmark Worldwide and have completed the Landmark Forum, Advanced course, Introduction Leaders Program, seminars, and currently I am in the Self-Expression and Leadership Program.One fun fact about me is that I love rare plants.
