I am an educator who enjoys combining English/writing skills with Afrofuturism and the arts. I am looking to make a positive impact in student’s lives and in the community. Looking to connect with mentors and other professionals who want to do the same.I am a creator, a visionary who looks at root causes in order to find long term solutions.I am a life-long learner using my passions to drive my intentions and to build my own business.I build and teach culturally restorative curriculum. This gives youth comprehensive and true history in an effort to help them to restore their positive identities. They are then more open and able to dream and see themselves in the future.I believe in change that is transformative and sustained. The state of our education, in particular for Black youth, has become my top priority. When these solutions become the norm, all others will be served as well.
