Helping transfer the knowledge of the UN SDGs and sustainable development through the SDG Academy to achieve transformative education. Highlights of my work include..• Managing the creation of massive open online courses and other educational resources on sustainable development. • Working with UN and non-UN partners including higher learning institutions to produce sustainable development content and strategically share resources of the Academy.• Supporting EU focused initiatives and upskilling projects aligned with the EU Green Deal (digital and twin transition). • Chaired the Education for Sustainable Development 2030, Regional Meeting (3-day event) in partnership with UNESCO Bangkok, UNESCO Jakarta and the Ministry of Education. Led a team of 20 in the SDSN Asia office to host 100 delegates across Asia-Pacific. • Frequently speak and represent the Academy and SDSN at both major and minor sustainable development events such as global youth leadership summits, conferences, the 79th UN General Assembly and Summit of the Future week among others.• A member of the Secretariat of Mission 4.7 to advance education for sustainable development globally. Locally, I support an ongoing teacher training program to push education for sustainable development in K-12 schools while working towards influencing the next Malaysian Education Blueprint.

Also performed energy and environmental assessments (IESVE) as well as green building rating consultation in line with LEED, WELL and BREEAM certifications. Green building consultation for projects to comply with the design, construction & post-occupancy requirements of LEED & GreenBuildingIndex (GBI) certification. This includes design review, energy modelling, documentation and simulations. Initial architectural, energy, water and material analyses are also done for projects looking to be certified green.Completed GBI INC (Industrial Certified) for a SanDisk plant in Malaysia.Ongoing project types vary including commercial, industrial and residential.Additionally performed project management duties for a low-rise construction of a warehouse.

Assisted in project management and timeline monitoring for 3 towers and 1 industrial plant throughout their green building certification process (LEED and GBI) in both design and construction stages. Involved in design review for Architectural and M&E trades for compliance towards certification requirementsApplied ASHRAE 62.1 and ASHRAE 90.1 in consulting HVAC, Lighting, Power and other design parameters related to achieve Energy Efficiency credits in green building certifications above.*This green building division was later brought to be under Bureau Veritas Malaysia.

Location : KL ECO CITYAn 8 month site engineering internship had me involved in the construction process of KL Eco City with specific focus on 1 of the 4 towers.Assisted in site inspections for the C&S, M&E and Architectural installations on a daily basis.Also coordinated with site inspectors for rectification of technical issues and unsatisfactory workmanship with additional quality control duties.Last but not least, administrated and completed my own Industrial Project of documenting several typical building construction processes involving all building trades.
