Duties and Responsibilities:• Involve in cost savings program sponsored by Group CFO.• Embed “smarter” spending culture and achieve a significant and sustainable reduction in SG&A costs to help deliver strategic priorities and support sustainable growth.• Perform advanced analytics with hypotheses approach in an agile environment to generate data driven insights and identify cost saving opportunities. • Analyze big data and generate insights with partnership of data scientists, data engineers, data architects and external consultants - Deloitte UK.• 1st Phase, analyzed SG&A of over USD 900mil for top marketing companies (USA, UK, China, Japan, Brazil, Mexico, France, Turkey, Australia and Germany) and identified annual cost savings opportunities of over USD 380mil. • 2nd Phase (R&D), identified Clinical Trials cost savings opportunities of over USD 16mil and onsite audit recovery of over USD 15mil for suppliers in USA & UK.• 3rd Phase (Royalty), discovered royalty audit recovery of over USD 15mil for two brands in PoC stage and seven brands in pipeline with additional potential recovery of over USD 12mil. Extended to royalty income audit for one brand with potential recovery of over USD 30mil in PoC stage and two brands in pipeline with partnership of external consultants (Deloitte and Fisher Forensic).• 3rd Phase (Analytics), identified annual cost savings opportunities of over USD 330mil for global Marketing Companies, Operations and R&D; and other initiatives in pipeline with over USD 370mil.• Involved in China’s ITN as Lead Auditor in 2018 for both marketing company at Shanghai and operations at Wuxi.• Manage talents and development of business analysts in efforts of sustainability through knowledge transfer and retaining skill sets in the team.
