This work also included participating in long-range planning and fundraising efforts including strategic planning, master planning, and capital campaigns.• Oversaw the management and modernization of all business operational informational technologies and services including network systems, security, hardware, and software development.• Responsible for two years for oversight of facility improvements and maintenance of 35,000 sq. ft. building and 110 acre site. Worked with Facilities Department and subcontractors to implement improvements in energy efficiency, sustainability, health and safety, security, and waste reduction.

• Used human-centered design principles to develop, problem solve, and manage strategic exhibit development addressing both community needs and business objectives. Target areas included STEM education, childhood development, and accessibility and inclusion. • In Creative Director role, led a cross-functional team of on-site employees and collaborated with external designers, fabricators, architects, tradespeople, and national and local partners to create interactive educational exhibitions and environments. • Developed project management processes and guided agile development of UX and UI design, prototyping, and user testing in projects working both independently and collaboratively through communication, teamwork, and relationship-building.

• Researched, designed, prototyped, and did user testing on more than 30 individual indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits using accessible Universal Design standards. Selected topics include: math, botany, ecology, astronomy, physics, and engineering.• Utilized construction skills including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to fabricate both indoor and outdoor exhibits.• Collaborated with research labs, community members, and national museum partners on educational projects.
