As the Committee Liaison Officer for the University of the West Indies (UWI) Global Campus for the 2023-2024 academic year, I played a vital role in fostering communication between the student body and various campus committees. My primary responsibility was to ensure that the students' voices were represented and that they were informed about key initiatives and events organized by the university. A significant part of my role involved coordinating and participating in outreach programs that emphasized community engagement and wellness. I actively participated inevents such as the annual 5K Run/Walk, which encouraged healthy living and raised awareness for various causes. Additionally, I played an integral part in the organization of environmental initiatives like the Beach Clean-Up, which aligned with UWI's commitment to sustainability and community service. Through these activities, I helped to strengthen the connection between the university and the local community, while also promoting student involvement in impactful programs.
