Experienced Care Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the insurance industry. Skilled in Psychiatry, Healthcare, Medicine, Nursing, and Nurse Practitioners. Strong healthcare services professional with a Masters Degree in Nursing focused in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Currently board-certified in psychiatry. I have recently become the owner of my own practice, Breaking Barriers, LLC., with a significant amount of patients. Right now I am a one provider practice until we are able to build the practice enough to withstand additional practitioners. My philosophy and the way of treating patients is to let them know from the beginning that I am just another person in the world, just like they are. Nothing makes me invincible to any mental health disorder (anxiety, depression, OCD, etc.) When we start talking about treatment plans and medications are involved versus going all natural treatment (which I have resources to share with others for this as well). Either way, if the patient and I, as the practitioner, do not agree or partially agree on something, then we discuss and we come up with a solution. I will not go with a treatment plan without the blessing of the patient. My slogan for my business and has been for my life for a very long time is this:"No one is PERFECT; however, we are ALL perfectly IMPERFECT!"
