Decided to go back to my roots, Nursing. I work in the wound healing center. I run the hyberbaric oxygen chambers and help in the wound clinic. Work with a great team and am only minutes from home. It feels great to be back in my community. Who knows after the first of the year there may be some by appointment only Real Estate as well. It is in my blood, lol.In October 2015, I had the opportunity to work with Ronald Shaver in the mortgage industry. It was a great job and had a wonderful team to work with. I learned so much about mortgages and requirements. But the hour drive one way finally wore me down so I resigned the position. Since January 1, 2015 I have been Principal Broker at Agency 1 Real Estate Inc. I was offered an opportunity and I took it. It was a hard decision since I had owned and operated Key Associates Grayson County Real Estate LLC. But with my agents having other interest I decided that closing the company and starting at Agency 1 was the right move for me.Past history:After several years in the health care field, I decided it was time for a change. I left my job as a nurse at a local Doctor's office and didn't really know where I was headed. A good friend owned a real estate company and asked me to come to work for him. My first thought was "No way, I am not a sales person, couldn't sell anything, would be lucky to give it away." But with his and my husband's encouragement I went to school and before long I was the newest sales agent at Key Associates. Nearly 10 years later who would have ever guess I would be the owner and principal broker of Key Associates Grayson Co. Real Estate LLC. We serve Grayson and surrounding counties. We have two of the most beautiful lakes in our area Rough River Lake and Nolin Lake. I have 2 brokers and 3 sales agents that work with me. And very happy to have 2 soon to be new agents attending school at this time.
