Sherri Pullum is a dynamic speaker, podcast host, and multi-faceted artist, leveraging her talents as an actor, producer, writer, director, and entrepreneur to make a meaningful impact. As the Founder/CEO of Pullum Productions, she uses various mediums—video, film, stage, and live events—to address social issues, promote healing, and transform lives.Beyond her artistic endeavors, Sherri is a wellness coach, certified social-emotional learning (SEL) facilitator, and yoga teacher, integrating mindfulness and self-awareness into her work. She initially created DRAMA-cize, as a youth program, blending creativity and emotional intelligence with wellness principles nurture self-expression, build confidence and promote wellbeing. Realizing its broader potential, she expanded DRAMA-cize to foster personal and professional growth in adults. DRAMA-cize has been implemented in organizations like the YWCA of Northern NJ, Bergen County Technical Schools and Special Services, CA Partnership to End Domestic Violence, Children’s Aid NYC, and the City of Hackensack. Sherri will present at this year’s Garden State Employment and Training Association (GSETA) conference.She received the 2024 Finalist Fellowship award from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for "Cherri Red Sweet Escape," a women's empowerment TV project currently in development. Sherri also tackled important societal issues, including domestic violence, body image, and race in the nationally toured play, “Ashes.” She co-wrote the vignettes and performed as one of the four actors. In 2018, she received an artist fellowship with Brown University. Other notable performances include the White House’s United State of Women Summit, Yale University, Bergen Community College, and The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.As the creator, producer, and host of the "Dreamers Unite: In the Studio" podcast, Sherri assembled an Emmy award-winning team to inspire dreamers worldwide. Through her company’s internship program, she mentors high school and college students, fostering the next generation of creatives.Sherri's commitment to community engagement is evident in her production of live events and curated panels for organizations like the Harlem Book Fair (HBF), HBF Midwest, Bergen County Film Festival, and Bergen County Music Festival. She volunteers on the planning committee of the Teaneck International Film Festival and the Digital Board of Orange County High School.Sherri is the mother of three bright lights, Gaia, Hunter, and Jade, who continue to be her greatest inspiration..
