17+ years' experience as a pediatric registered nurse with strong clinical background in a variety of acute clinical settings, including pediatric intensive care, pediatric ER/Urgent Care, as wellas working in a pediatrician's office, and pediatric home care. Have performed duties as a lactation consultant in inpatient, clinic, and home care settings. Competent to perform basic and complex nursing skills including obtaining IV access, blood draws, medication administration, and other procedures as needed. Eager to provide patient and family education and to act as a compassionate patient and family advocate. Thrive in high paced and high census envoronments. Have been busy raising children for the past 9 years. Excited to have the opportunity to return to nursing career.
