About Sherri Stephens

I serve as President of Stephens Wealth Management Group (SWMG) and Lead Wealth Advisor for the firm. My career began as an intern more than forty years ago for the practice I now own. I am a proud graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint and have been fortunate to be nationally recognized as a leading advisor in the industry.My goal is to help business owners and those approaching or in retirement live a smart financial life, so they:1) Have the financial freedom to live the life they choose;2) Have peace of mind that their family is taken care of; and3) Can protect their legacy.A strong believer in giving back, I remain heavily engaged in my community. I am a proud past chair and current trustee for The Community Foundation of Greater Flint (CFGF) as well as the Investment Committee Chair and an active board member for McLaren Flint hospital. I also serve on the advisory board for my alma mater, UM-Flint, and sponsor an Advancement in Wealth Management scholarship for those interested in pursuing a career in the field. Serving as a mentor to young professionals, especially women, in finance and wealth management is another personal passion.
