Program Quality Assurance Engineer
Current• Conduct Problem Reporting and Corrective Action (PRACA) Quality Audits for formal acceptance and qualification testing of hardware in support of the System Problem Resolution Team (SPRT).• Responsible for facilitating, directing, and leading multiple/functional groups to resolve on-orbit anomalies and on-ground nonconformance’s associated with International Space Station Program hardware.• Review incoming customer changes and develop Quality Engineering schedules and cost data. • Ensures product functionality complies with system specifications and maintains high degree of compliance with business and process documentation.• Responsible for approving engineering drawings, specifications, process instructions and work control documents to validate product conformance.• Boeing certified MRB Quality Engineer providing approval and closure of disposition of discrepant hardware with coordination of other required engineering disciplines.• Interfaces with cross functional teams to ensure Boeing Nonconformance’s (BNS) are appropriately addressed and monitored until closure.• Quality Engineering/Reliability & Maintainability team focal for the LEAN+/5S initiative, which resulted in the teams achieving 5S Level 3.
