My duties include but are not limited to exercising various recruitment techniques (application, online and resume), interviews, hiring process, attending career fairs, compensation, new hire paperwork, orientation, administer employee benefits programs such as 401k, health, dental, disability, FMLA, STD, LTD and Employee Assistance Program, employee relations, workman's comp, coordinate training programs for employees, assist managers in processing employee warnings, ensure proper documentation is processed and filed, and assist in involuntary and voluntary employment terminations when necessary; conduct exit interviews and work with compliance management on health and safety issues.

Work with individuals to build resumes and find job opportunities to place them. Coach clients on how to properly dress and act on the job. Assist individuals in learning educational highlights to complete their G.E.D's. Salary: $7.00 per hour

Gained exposure to various aspects of human resource management including: assisting managers with administration and maintenance of employment, prepare and sent out new hire packages, updated new hire data, payroll, benefits, policies, screening and recruitment, assisted managers with modifying and creating job descriptions, reference checking, labor relations, Web-recruiting and filling positions at the main headquarters and different branches.
