Accounts Payable:Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, along with other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Used several excel templates to help produce accurate information for monthly financial reports.Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.Responsible for over 60 vendor accounts. Maintain files and documentation for all payment transactions on an Excel spreadsheet.Process vendor invoices for payments. Check for discrepancies before issuing and sending checksResearch and resolve routine internal and external inquiries as to account status.Product Information/ Purchase Order Specialist:Process purchase orders entered by buyers and the send them to vendors. Ensured that those purchase orders had confirmed shipping times, correct terms and correct pricing. Entered new product descriptions into our system as they became available. Used Power Point to make a slide presentation to show data for the comparisons of new products for Buyers to present to Sales Reps.Completed monthly checks on purchase orders to be sure they were still open and active with the vendors and remove those were cancelled. Updated pricing and vendor information as needed using an Excel spreadsheet.Established a very good rapport with our vendors. Kept an updated contact information to ensure quick and accurate resolve to issues.Receiving:Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter.Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
