I am a resource to clients, designers and related industry professionals to provide innovative solutions for their projects.Focus on two different verticle markets: Higher Education, and Government.

Managed designers in multiple locations. Responsible for recruitment, hiring and dismissal of design personnel. Estimate design costs and write client design contracts. Monitor design projects for internal cost/budget efficiency to maintain original profit margin. Coordinate projects varying in size from individual offices to complex, multiple divisions, whole floor moves. Assist with preparing contract documents through construction administration for projects ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 square feet internally, and coordinated our company responsibilities for projects ranging from 1,500 to 200,000 square feet.

Created and presented design concepts during formal presentations using Power Point and finish boards. Developed interior design specifications, created construction documents and three-dimensional renderings, for minor and major construction projects from inception to completion. Coordinated implementation of design concept for general contractor, engineers and sub-contractors. Inspected project site during all phases of construction. Developed and maintained schedule of projects of various sizes and complexities for commercial, retail / showroom, and healthcare interior design projects, including field measuring, space planning and material and finish selections.

Created drawings, furniture/finish specifications and material/color boards using AutoCAD and 20-20 Studio software. Worked with clients and account executives in all vertical markets but with an emphasis on Local/State/Federal agencies. Stayed current with product information/design trends by attending training seminars.
