I began my employment experiences straight out of high school with 26 years in manufacturing and the last 17 years in the administrative field, thanks to a former manufacturing manager that seen my potential and gave me the opportunity to train in the administrative field. As an administrative assistant, I have organized special events and fund raisers along with the daily duties of the office. I feel during this time I have earned the trust and respect of leaders within the university as well as my previous area of work in manufacturing. Professionally, I have worked as an office assistant with finance, executive assistant in administration, administrative assistant in the president's office and as executive assistant for finance at Lincoln Memorial University. During my administrative career, I have also worked as a human resource generalist with employee records, served as a plant secretary in manufacturing plants. Skills consist of microsoft office, outlook, receptionist skills, phone operator skills, phone etiquette, filing, spreadsheets, entering production/payroll and various software programs. On the manufacturing part of my career, I have also worked in the production area of both England Inc and DeRoyal Industries as well.Outside of work, I am active in my Church mission program, Women on Mission where I currently serve as the director. I was fortunate enough to be involved with OCC Distribution Center in Boone, NC in 2019. I am the former director of WMU in the CGBA where I served from 2010 - 2012. During our time being involved with missions, we have organized various fund raising and or supply drives such as supporting our national and international missionaries, food drives for local schools with the back pack program, diaper drives for the area pregnancy center, items for Bags of Love for children that are taken out of their homes, just to name a few. At work, we have helped with various needs of our work community.
