• Perform financial analysis and modeling of current and historical trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of sales, cost of sales, contribution margin, and SG&A expense.• Analyze, report and communicate on monthly financial performance and key financial trends.• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly Board level and general financial reporting• Prepare presentations for the Executive Management team.• Support Site Director of Plant Operations and the local team by preparing and analyzing capital expenditure projects.• Support the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting and measurement against budget and forecasts.• Analyze, track, report and communicate Cost Improvement initiatives for all PLI locations.• Perform one-off, ad hoc analysis of financial and operational information.

• Manage the plant’s monthly closing, accounts payable, and payroll activities, in addition to other accounting-related functions. • Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of costs, program budgets and actual expenditures.• Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; including raw material yields, period expense and standards variance. • Generate annual product cost standards, cost savings targets and capital expenditures.• Foster an environment of cost awareness; drive cost-saving initiatives across all departments. • Lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain and correct variances as appropriate.• Analyze and present plant performance data across multiple departments relating to multiple disciplines including but not limited to production, maintenance, shipping and customer service.• Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and capital guidelines; participate in facilitating cost studies for projects relating to new products, manufacturing methods, equipment or facilities. • Coordinate and conduct annual physical inventory assessment.• Ensure plant conformance to corporate property, accounting policies and procedures.

• Generate budget templates and create annual budgets for departments of the organization.• Create and maintain forecasts on a monthly basis.• Provide monthly analysis & reports for differences between Budget, Forecast & Performance.• Track compendium, headcount (full- and part-time) and FTE statistics.• Set up and maintain standard financial reports such as: the statement of income, the statement of financial position, and the statement of cash flows.• Structure ROI templates that measure the performance of proposed capital budgeting projects.• Perform ad hoc analysis.• Researched & led implementation of forecasting tool, Adaptive Insights.

•Provide oversight and reconciliation of supplier investments, working closely with Trade Development.•Provide monthly reporting and analysis of supplier spends and minimize supplier A/R DOS.•Provide analysis of GP, chargeback and costing issues.•Develop ad hoc analyses as required.•Support BBN Sales & Trade Departments with analytical reporting as needed.

•Review and control all labor and non-labor expenses.•Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis, deliver monthly financials to management, and assist with processing data on a weekly/monthly basis.•Set up cost control systems, monitor, and control costs and schedules.•Perform analyses and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government guidelines.•Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses.•Perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.•Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.•Incorporate contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.•Support Control Account Managers with cost and schedule inputs and analysis. •Identify and implement opportunities to improve Earned Value/Scheduling processes and techniques.
