I equip and manage the Cross Street ministry for K-2 (~160 kids) at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and assist with other special events within our department. Curriculum preparation and implementation, as well as volunteer recruitment and training are a vital part of my job. I manage ~ 80 volunteers, adults and high school students, to provide weekly large and small group programming. Technical aspects include management of automated check-in, digital presentation with sound and lighting, and digital curriculum. I manage special needs mainstreaming, and provide behavioral support and strategies. Building relationships with families, kids, and volunteers, and leading them to their next step in spiritual growth embodies the heartbeat of my ministry.

I was a 3rd grade teacher in a private Christian school. I taught 7 subject in an academically challenging curriculum.

I taught 4th grade. Half of my class were ESL students from Southeast Asia.
