This role includes communication with physician reviewers and clients, editing and proofreading reports, managing multiple aggressive deadlines, and implementation and development of ongoing improvement strategies.

Writing, editing, and project management, primarily for clients in the healthcare industry. I do projects such as:Web copy (currently writing educational copy for Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, New York);Physicians' guidebooks (such as a guidebook on adult organ transplantation for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital);Patient information guides for patients and school personnel (NYP/Columbia, Children's Cardiomyopathy Foundation);National newsletters on surgical topics (i.e. bariatric surgery, colorectal, cardiothoracic, plastic surgery, and others);Management of educational web site for cardiothoracic nurses (Columbia);Continuing Medical Education (CME) units for National Jewish Health and private medical education companies;Annual reports for various hospitals;Blogs and social media campaigns;Web development, including overall project management, research, writing, and co-production, for both medical and non-medical clients.
