I began my career by landing a receptionist job in the early 2000s for a prominent construction company specializing in pipeline and utility system construction, where I fell in love with everything about it. I moved up and grew with the company and continued to learn different trades and different areas of construction from building wastewater treatment plants to residential and commercial insurance restoration and mitigation, and commercial ground-up construction.I have a demonstrated history of managing all aspects of accounting in the construction industry. Graduating magna cum laude from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business and minors in Accounting, General Management, and Operations Management, I plan to remain in the construction industry and focus on creating, teaching, leading, and overseeing a successful team. I am a proud member of Sigma Alpha Pi and a lifetime member of Daughters of the American Revolution, an organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the United States' efforts toward independence. I enjoy cooking, road trips, live music, and fishing.
