Coordinate the Social Service program to meet the needs of residents, including screenings, admissions, discharges (voluntary and involuntary), Federal MDS compliance, Medicare compliance, care planning, personal counseling, financial assistance, behavioral control and modification, payroll for social service department, ensure resident rights, advanced directives in compliance with State and Federal regulations, policies, oversee residents personal accounts, Federal HOIPPA compliance, education for new employees, Abuse Committee coordinator, community resources, supervise social service staff, assist with family support groups and education, continuously report to Administrator problems/concerns, community speaking engagements and attend and participate in professional seminars and policy making groups.
