Sherry Moore received her Pharmacy degree from Howard University in 1995 and has been practicing in community pharmacy for over 21 years. She has successfully expanded and managed successful MTM, Immunization, bariatric, asthma and diabetes clinical programs. She was one of the first classes of immunizers, supporting changes to pharmacy vaccine efforts in Maryland through the years. She was recognized by the American Pharmacists Association in January 2008 for her contributions to the practice of pharmacy and for the service she provides to her patients. Her true Passion was in Experiential Education where she precepted IPPE and APPE students for over 6 schools of pharmacy for over 15 years and in 2004 was a PGY1 Residency Site director for University of Maryland. The University of Maryland named her Preceptor of the Year in 2010 and she was awarded the Deans Hall of Fame – Distinguished Community Pharmacist award in 2013. Her love of Experiential Education continued in 2015 when she joined Notre Dame of Maryland University, School of Pharmacy, as the Assistant Director of Experiential Education. In 2020, Sherry received her Master’s degree in Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Administration in Changing Populations.
