Prep demo cart for 6 hour demonstration job. You prepare your product for use by consumers to either feel, eat, or see what the product is about, while at the same time you are trying to make eye contact. You need to be able to tell all about your product and cost while they are eating or listening to you. The whole idea is to have your product shown at its best with a price people think they can pay. You do this all day while wanting to add to the amount sold during your demo. After this you break down and clean the cart up to health standards for the next demo. I enjoy.the contact with the people I meet everyday. I have even made some friends along the way. Ones that I see often in the store.

I did all sorts of office tasks. I did filing, typing, computer input, answering the phone, making bank transactions etc., I used all office machine from calculator to copier. I was the jack of all trades. I worked for a couple of small offices. I also worked for a temporary agency. I did everything that needed to be done from accounting and payroll to dictation. After this job I was diagnosed disable. I then had a large work gap until 2014. It was at this time when I found out that the government was making going back to work a great way to get out and make a living again. I am currently disabled but it would not keep from from doing whatever you need to get the job done. I think I have proven this in the last year.

I mainly worked in accounting department. I started out as typist but transferred when there was an opening. I was lead bookkeeper over 4 other girls. We did everything necessary to get the job finished each day, week, month or year We did all reports that came from accounting office. Payroll was even included in our lists of tasks. We kept the books for all locations, all connected to the main office in Owensboro. We did the sales taxes. payroll taxes, etc., We provided profit and loss statements for each quarter and year end. We did everything in that office to bring all the other departments together on the books. Tthe only thing we had no control over was inventory. This was handled by a CPA office in Owensboro. I say we on this description because I could have never done all this by myself. I had girls who knew what they were doing and helped each other put it all together. These girls were my friends on and off the job. We all were working for the same reason. I left there with a heavy heart because the company had been sold years before and we were just part of the closing. I didn't try too hard to move for a position. We did have help if needed from the treasurer of the company.
