After twenty years of practice, including a three-year stint as the City Attorney for the City of New Orleans and, most recently, eleven years with a boutique tax firm, Sherry Landry Schultz launched Schultz Law LLC in February 2017. At Schultz Law LLC, Sherry will continue representing investors, community development entities, lenders and developers in real estate and tax credit matters, including historic rehabilitation tax credits, new markets tax credits and renewable energy tax credits.

Sherry has represented political subdivisions, developers, lenders, community development entities, underwriters and general business interests in a variety of matters. She is experienced in New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits, complex commercial real estate transactions, private-public partnerships, partnership taxation, drafting and negotiating contracts, municipal law, government investigations, Stafford Act matters, formation and governance of limited liability entities, corporate governance issues and commercial litigation.
